Jamila Youngstedt is a freelance dancer, Cyr Wheel artist, and choreographer in New York City.

In 2017, she co-founded Tactile Movement Collective with Cassie Lee Reeder and Daniel Evanko. Combining dance, visual art, original music, and tangible installations to create immersive experiences, TMC explores intimacy, community, and the human form. Jamila is the Artistic Director of Dance for Tactile Movement Collective, as well as a choreographer and performer.

Jamila was a 2018 (inaugural year) &2019 Sokoloff Arts Fellow at Town Stages and a 2020 Resident Artist at Town Stages.
